The inaugural ceremony of international online training on “Green Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Development” was held at RDA, Bogura.

Dr. Manoj Nardeosingh, Secretary General, AARDO inaugurated the training course. He highlighted the Afro-Asian scenario in the context of agriculture technology and sustainable development. He emphasized technological development to reduce environmental degradation and ensure out better future.

Mr. Khalil Ahmed, Director General and Additional Secretary, RDA, Bogura delivered the Welcome Address. He urged to focus on the innovation and application of green technologies and practices so as to protect our environment, biodiversity and natural capital and attain green growth. He added that the Afro-Asian countries could be benefited through the replication of green innovations of RDA.

In all, 96 trainees from 26 countries are participating in online training jointly organized by AARDO and RDA, Bogura.
