Mohan Bijoy Dibosh is the glorious victory day in the history of Bangladesh. Behind the history of victory, there was liberation war remained for 9 month starting from 26 March, 1971 when the father of the nation Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman declared independence of Bangladesh. More than 30 Lac people have sacrificed their life during the independence war.

To pay deep homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country in the liberation war and to celebrate the national day 16 December in a befitting matter, The Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogra chalked out daylong elaborated programme which included reception of freedom fighters, March Past by the students and Scouts of RDA Lab. school and college, colorful display by school children, opening 3 magazines, games & sports, cultural evening and prize giving ceremony.

On 16 December, 2016 morning the programme was started with hosting of national flag by Dr. AKM Zakaria, DG (In-Charge) of RDA while Mr. Rabiul Islam, Principle (In-Charge) RDA Lab. school and college presided over the daylong programe. After Jumma prayer Special munajat was offered in the RDA Jame-e-Mosque seeking blessing for the country. Freedom fighter, Faculty members and staff members of all level, teachers and students of RDA Lab. School and College and huge number of guests and dignitaries. In the evening the Academy campus was illuminated with colorful lights.
